I have served as a 4th and 5th grade teacher, Grade-Level Leader, Ohio Improvement Plan team member, teacher mentor, Title I teacher and have wore many other hats in education from coach to tutor. I have my B.A. from Defiance College in Middle Childhood Education (science, social studies, reading). I also have a Master of Arts from Bowling Green State University in International and Cross Cultural Education. I focused my graduate studies on economic and ethnic minorities in the U.S. in an effort to better serve inner-city students.
