About

Do you ever feel that your isolated in your classroom? Do you yearn to see what others are doing? Would you love to be a fly on the wall of a master teacher? Well then this is the place for you! Teachers are very busy people and are often hard pressed to find extra time after lesson planning, grading, contacting parents, and organizing extra-curriculars to research the art of teaching.  This blog will give you daily tips, tricks, and ideas to help you hone your skills in the classroom. These simple ideas can easily be incorporated into your teaching toolbox.

I have served as a 4th and 5th grade teacher, Grade-Level Leader, Ohio Improvement Plan team member, teacher mentor, Title I teacher and have wore many other hats in education from coach to tutor.  I have my B.A. from Defiance College in Middle Childhood Education (science, social studies, reading). I also have a Master of Arts from Bowling Green State University in International and Cross Cultural Education. I focused my graduate studies on economic and ethnic minorities in the U.S. in an effort to better serve inner-city students. I am very passionate about our extremely important mission of providing a high-quality education for all students. If your here, you must share this enthusiasm in our work! Please sign up to get post alerts so you won’t miss any great tips, tricks and ideas!
